Single-page and multi-page tattoo stencil printing
If the stencil fits inside the printable area, the PDF uses one page. Larger stencils are divided into overlapping sheets with row and column labels so the complete design can be aligned after printing.
Prevent scaling before you trust the print
A true-size PDF can still be resized by the print path. Use 100% or Actual Size when the selected application exposes that control, and keep the loaded paper identical to the PDF. On iPhone, AirPrint settings vary by app and printer. Disable borderless, fit, shrink, or crop options when shown, then measure the 50 mm scale check. If it is not exactly 50 mm, do not use that print.

An image can contain large white or transparent margins around the actual stencil. The calculator detects the visible design area first, so the size refers to the stencil itself rather than to the complete image canvas.
Image resolution at the final print size
The same raster file becomes less detailed as its physical print size increases. The calculator reports the effective pixels per inch and warns when the source may appear soft, but the artist should still inspect fine lines before transfer.
