How it works

  1. 1. Upload. Choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP reference up to 20 MB. Stencilable input has sharp focus, even light with clear dark and light separation, a simple background, and the subject filling the frame. Fix before you spend the free generation: retake soft or dark photos, simplify a busy background, and leave out extra faces, hands, text, and clutter.
  2. 2. Crop. Crop tightly around the subject you want tattooed and exclude extra faces, hands, text, and background clutter. Position, resize, zoom, and rotate so the important landmarks fill the frame with breathing room for transfer and placement. If the short side drops under 512 px the tool warns you, since a larger or clearer source preserves more usable structure.
  3. 3. Choose detail. The tool starts on Detailed, so move it unless the piece is large. Pick Simple for small, curved, or silhouette-first work, Standard for medium pieces that need several stable landmarks, and Detailed only when the piece is large enough to keep extra structure readable. When unsure, start with Standard, judge at the final tattoo size rather than full screen, and keep the cleaner version that preserves the landmarks you need.
  4. 4. Generate and review. Press Generate, sign in only if needed, then compare the stencil with your reference at the final tattoo size before download. Check likeness, lettering, small landmarks, and line density. Download the PNG, which is also saved to your account. A technical failure before completion can retry without consuming the free stencil. Thin, crowded, or uncertain marks mean simplifying the source or stepping down one detail level, not keeping every generated line.
