Count the completed stencil
Cost per sheet is only one part of cost per stencil.
A completed stencil can use more than one sheet, and some paper is consumed by reprints or failed output. The calculator starts with the paper pack you actually buy, then keeps optional equipment, time, and overhead visible as separate layers.

Reprints
Extra-paper percentage increases paper usage only. It does not silently inflate printer, labor, or fixed costs.

Printer
Purchase price can be allocated over the useful life you enter. It is a planning allocation, not an assumed financing payment.

Time and overhead
Optional time, variable consumables, and fixed monthly printing costs stay separate so a materials-only estimate remains possible.
How to enter reprints
Measure extra paper, not an abstract failure probability.
Use the extra sheets your real workflow consumes beyond the base sheets needed for completed stencils.
If 100 completed stencils would require 100 sheets before reprints, but you actually consume 110 sheets after failed prints or repeated output, enter 10%. The calculator multiplies paper usage by 1.10.
If larger work often uses more than one sheet even when the first print succeeds, put that in Average sheets per completed stencil before adding reprints. This keeps base sheet count and extra printing from being counted twice.
If unexpected reprints are coming from weak, broken, jammed, or otherwise inconsistent paper output, use the Printer Troubleshooter to isolate the print-path problem before treating that waste as permanent.
What is not assumed
Blank costs stay blank.
The result is an estimate from the components you supplied, not a market benchmark or a claim about every studio expense.

No. It uses only the costs and usage assumptions you enter. There is no built-in transfer-paper price, printer price, hourly rate, reprint rate, or studio-volume assumption.
