Missouri's Temporary Practitioner License is for an applicant entering the state to practice at a state or national convention. State law requires the completed application and $50 fee at least two days before the convention, and the temporary license is nonrenewable and valid for no more than 14 days. For a permanent move or standard out-of-state license path: Missouri publishes a reciprocity application for qualifying licensed practitioners.
The event location uses a separate Temporary Establishment License. Apply at least 30 days before the event; the license requires a pre-opening inspection, is issued per event and may not exceed 14 consecutive days. The current temporary tattoo establishment application lists a $100 fee.
