Convention workflow
Organizer acceptance, BBP evidence, and legal permission are separate checks.
A convention can ask for training documents while the state or local authority separately controls practitioner registration and temporary-event permission.
Read the event's artist instructions and the local regulator's temporary body-art rules. If either one asks for BBP, Universal Precautions, First Aid, CPR, or another credential, verify the exact document and how current it must be. Do not assume that buying a booth or being accepted by the organizer satisfies the health-department requirement.
The U.S. Tattoo Conventions directory keeps event-specific application, booth, and permit notes separate from the underlying state licensing path.
